Position Title: Battery Assembly Technician II

POSITION SCOPE:

As a member of the manufacturing team, this position will operate manual and semi-automated fabrication equipment using cutting, heating, laminating and conversion processes for a thin film battery manufacturing line.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Work as part of a manufacturing team producing thin film batteries
* Meet production goals in the areas of quality, quantity, and all other relevant specifications
* Ability to be cross trained and work in several different areas of production
* Operate and maintain all relevant production equipment
* Collect and use data to monitor production processes
* Work closely with process and research teams to implement new concepts to manufacturing

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Three to five years experience in high tech assembly/manufacturing
* High levels of technical and mechanical aptitudes
* Handling of delicate materials desirable
* Significant success in past positions with the operation of manufacturing equipment
* Able to demonstrate working knowledge of fundamental math
* High initiative level (hands on), good communication skills (written and verbal). Able to function in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work well in several different areas (versatile)
* Ability to work well within a team

Shifts:

Shift A: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays

Shift C: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and alternating Wednesdays

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
