* AUTOCAD Drafter

* 3D drawing skills

* AutoCad is mandatory

* Experience autocad mep (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)

* 3D piping or plumbing experience would be ideal


Tasks will include:

* drawing pkgs for submittal to field guys

* assist with printing of drawing, collating drawings

* creating as built drawing models


Coordinator Design Drafter

Healthcare Solutions division has an opportunity for a skillful project coordinator/design drafter to work with on-site representatives to integrate the pneumatic tube system in coordination with the rest of the trades. Throughout the coordination process, the coordinator/design drafter shall be responsible for translating the coordinating discussions into a detailed installation layout that will eventually be used for both permit approval and as the construction drawing set for field installation crews.

When not directly attending on-site and virtual coordination meetings and/or developing installation drawing sets, the coordinator/design drafter shall complete other work such as completion of as-built drawings, assembling and submitting project submittals, RFI development and submittals, and/or other assigned tasks that that identified by the CAD Department Manager.

Principle Accountabilities:

Attend on-site and virtual construction coordination or project progress meetings

Work with both general contractors and other contractors to determine acceptable routing and equipment locations for the equipment

Prepare system drawing packages utilizing AutoCAD that are consistent with the coordination meeting discussions and agreements

To the extent determined by the project manager, manage all site related design information including the review of general contractor initiated paperwork, schedules, RFI's, etc. and address all items that impact Swisslog's work

Assemble, submit, and track both drawing submittals and project related submittals as necessary to assist the project manager. This shall include drawing submittals to owners, owner's representatives, and/or permitting agencies

Qualifications include:

Associate's degree in technical drawing field or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 5 or more years of design/drafting experience. Piping design experience a plus.

Willingness to travel to job sites when necessary.

Capability of managing multiple simultaneous tasks with assigned deadlines

Preferences include:

3D Modeling using AutoCAD Building Systems 2007 or equivalent MEP package

Experience with Navis Works for clash detection/resolution is a plus
