Bios
Our founders Marty and Mike have known each other since they were teenagers and have more than 30 years of experience serving the Denver area’s employment industry. Their long-term friendship and partnership forms the backbone of our cohesive organization, and much of our success is due to their involvement in our day-to-day operations and their willingness to help us find creative solutions to challenging situations.

 

• Michael Finch, Owner

Michael leads corporate development at The Employment Firm. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Denver area’s recruiting and staffing industry, as well as leadership in sales, management, and employee training. Prior to taking over ownership of The Employment Firm, Michael served as regional vice president at a local staffing provider, where he was responsible for the operations of four branches and two on-site accounts. Michael holds a bachelors degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is an active member of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, Colorado Staffing Association, Colorado Human Resources Association, and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

• Martin Mihm, Owner

Martin has 15 years of experience in the Denver market providing proven results in the staffing industry through revenue growth, lead generation, and team building. He currently oversees all company operations at The Employment Firm. Prior to assuming ownership of The Employment Firm, Martin held a leadership position as a regional manager at a local staffing provider, where he was responsible for branch profitability, client retention and sales training. Martin's vast experience in the staffing and recruiting industry also includes successful account executive positions with an accounting and financial staffing provider and a local staffing provider, where he focused on securing new customers and establishing winning sales processes. Martin received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Clarkson University and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Potsdam.

• Kelly Elmore, Manager of Recruiting and Development

Kelly began her career as a corporate trainer for GE Capital where she was responsible for all recruiting, human resources and facilitating CSR courses to every new hire in the Denver corporate call center. Prior to joining The Employment Firm in 2006, Kelly was a recruiter for a national corporate staffing agency where she oversaw on-site client relations and direct hire placements. She enjoys the challenge of recruiting and assisting people to further their careers, her goal is to fill the clients' needs while ensuring candidate success. Kelly brings a true passion and drive for both recruiting and client relations.
• Amy Thomas, Staffing Coordinator

With more than a decade of experience, Amy brings a sense of motivation and strong customer satisfaction to The Employment Firm. Prior to joining The Employment Firm in 2009, she worked as an executive recruiter for an employment company, where she consulted with clients on staffing needs. Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College in Highlands Lakes, Mich. She received her Broker’s License from Jones College and is a Member of CHRA, Colorado Human Resources Association.
• Jennifer Page, Staffing Assistant

Jennifer’s strong volunteer background and varied experience serve as a unique asset to The Employment Firm. Before joining The Employment Firm in 2010, she worked as an independent contractor for an office supply company. Jennifer has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and an emphasis in Pre-Medicine from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
